Petanque originated in France. The game is played by 2 teams. A game consists of the throwing out of the jack, followed by the two teams throwing their boules. After both teams have thrown all of their boules, the team with the boule closest to the jack wins the end. The winning team scores one point for each of its boules that is closer than the opposing team's closest boule. The first team to 13 poits wins the game. Set includes 6 metal petanque balls (3 black, 3 chromed), cloth storage bag, jack, measuring tape and rules.
